What we collect, why we hold it, how we handle assessment and coaching data, and your rights.

Jarred Consulting Limited (registered in England and Wales, company no. 06043555) is an HR and talent management consultancy. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- If you enquire through this website: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the option you selected and your message.
- Client contacts: the business contact details and correspondence needed to deliver an engagement.
- Assessment and coaching data: where an engagement involves assessing or coaching individuals, we handle personal data about those people — assessment responses, scores, reports and coaching notes. We process this on our client’s instructions, as their processor, under a written agreement.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry. Your consent, and our legitimate interest in replying.
- To deliver the engagement. Performance of our contract with the client organisation.
- To meet legal duties. Tax and company law require us to keep certain business records.
Assessment, coaching and candidate data
Where we assess or coach individuals on behalf of a client, that client is the data controller and we act as their processor. Coaching conversations are treated as confidential: we report on themes and progress to the sponsor only as agreed at the outset, and never on the content of individual sessions without the coachee’s knowledge.
Who we share it with
With the client organisation that commissioned the work; with associates in our extended consultant network where they are delivering part of your engagement, under the same confidentiality obligations; with the suppliers who run the systems we use, including the form service that delivers messages sent from this site; and with anyone we are legally required to tell. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted on request. Assessment and engagement records are kept for the period agreed with the client organisation, and returned or deleted at the end of the engagement where that is what has been agreed.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we hold your data as a processor for a client, we will pass your request to them.
